
Paleo Taco Bowl
This taco bowl is not only healthy and delicious, but very nutritious. Adults & kids love this recipe.

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef, chicken or turkey (free-range highly recommended)
1 large onion, diced
2 large bell peppers, diced
1 can organic diced tomatoes and green chilies
Primal Palate's taco seasoning or make your own (see below)
2 cups baby kale and greens mix or other salad (no iceberg)
1 cups rice
Garnishes
Instructions
Cook rice in separate pot or rice cooker
In large pan, add ground meat, crumble and brown
Drain off excess fat
Add diced onion and peppers and cook until soft and browned
Add tomatoes and rice, stir well
Mix in taco seasoning - add in tbsp water if needed to mix.
Keep on stove until taco mix has fully incorporated tacos
Add salad or greens to a bowl, and spoon taco mixture over the top
Serve and enjoy!
Tip: Garnishments can be avocado, jalapeño peppers, dairy-free sour cream, dairy-free cheese
Spices in Homemade Taco Seasoning
To make your own taco seasoning is so very simple. You just need:
2 Tbsp. organic chili powder
1 Tbsp. organic cumin
1 tsp. organic garlic powder
1 tsp. organic oregano
1 tsp. organic kosher salt
1/2 tsp. organic smoked paprika
