
Crock-pot Paleo Chili

Crock-pot Paleo Chili - is a hearty, no bean chili recipe. The perfect addition to a Paleo or Whole30 menu and super simple to prepare ahead of time!

Ingredients
1 lb. Ground Turkey (or beef)
2 Bell Peppers, Diced
1 Medium Onion, Diced
1 Can (14.5 oz.) Unsalted Tomatoes
1 Cup Crushed Tomatoes
2.5 Tbsp. Homemade Chili Seasoning
2 Cups Low Sodium Beef Broth or Chicken Broth
Sea or Kosher Salt, To Taste
Instructions
Brown turkey over medium-high heat
Add the turkey and remaining ingredients to slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours. Adjust seasonings to taste and top with sliced jalapenos, chopped red onion, avocado as desired.
Homemade Chili Seasoning Blend
5 Tbsp. organic chili powder
2 Tbsp. organic cumin
2 Tbsp. organic garlic powder
2 Tbsp. organic oregano
1 Tbsp. organic paprika (or organic smoked paprika is my fav)
1 1/2 Tbsp. organic onion powder
1 tsp. organic black pepper
2 tsp. Kosher or Sea salt
Store in a mason jar or tightly sealed container
For Instant Pot
Set Instant Pot to saute
Spray with plant-based cooking spray (Olive oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil) or add 1 tsp. olive oil to pot.
Add ground turkey, stirring until cooked
Add remaining ingredients to the pot
Set to manual for 10 minutes
When cycle is complete, allow for natural release of pressure.
Serve with favorite toppings.
