Chris B.: "4th March 2015 We live locally but have only visited Loch Fyne a couple of times. We came for a midweek treat and were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. The waitress helped us to decide on certain dishes and we actually saved money by buying the wine she recommended. With more time on our hands as we get older a midweek treat is likely to become more normal and Loch Fyne will be a part of that. Highly recommended. "

This was our first visit to a Loch Fyne restaurant and cannot believe we have never tried Loch Fyne before. Everything was absolutely excellent - the staff were great and were very knowledgeable about the area, the food and the wine. Going back next weekend."

Anonymised A.: "Feb 2011, our fourth visit over 2-3 years and our first under the Gourmet society banner. Quality is always very good, portions of a reasonable size and a good choice for most fish lovers. Service is usually quick and pleasant and on a previous occasion with a new staff member serving us, the manager hovered supportively in the background.

We have only one criticsm in that we have been caught out by some ingredients not referred to in the description of the dish, leading to disappointment. This time it was mushrooms in a clam chowder which spoilt the choice for one of our party - an avid chowder fan.

Minimal parking outside so on-street parking the main alternative making access a problem for less mobile customers.

But we'll definately be back"
