Fred P.: "A magnificent meal in pleasant surroundings served by the best staff that we came across during a week of touring Kent. A wonderfully diverse fish platter as a starter was substantial enough to be a main course on its own. This was followed by a chicken dish that was magnificent and then the evening got even better as a melt in your mouth Eton Mess made me glad that I had for once resisted the Cheesecake, which my wife had not and was almost stalled by the size of a mouth watering Tia Maria and White Chocolate presentation. Complemented by an extensive list of quality wines I can only say one thing. What a great pity that we were on holiday and live about 250 miles away! If not the this would be a regular for us."
